Leadership Team

Mrs. Becky Williams holds the position of Assistant Head Teacher at Telscombe Cliffs Academy. Her journey with STEP began in 2016 when the school, formerly known as Meeching Valley, became part of the trust, now known as Breakwater Academy. Becky embarked on her teaching career in 2015 after successfully completing her BA Primary Teaching degree at Kingston University. Over the years, she has garnered valuable experience in both Key Stages, with many years teaching both Year 2 and Year 6 students. Like Dr. Mills, Becky earned a master’s degree in Leadership from Saint Mary’s University. Her master’s research concentrated on the enhancement of mathematics education within primary schools, which subsequently led to the development of an innovative mathematics intervention strategy, with a specific emphasis on supporting disadvantaged pupils. In 2021, she achieved the National Professional Qualification for Senior Leadership, further enriching her leadership skills. Beyond her professional life, Becky finds joy in various outdoor activities, including swimming, hiking, surfing, and paddleboarding.
